I came across this article in SCMP.com and found this line, quite interesting. The writer wrote in his headline article "Weak greenback dulls HK's appeal as workplace of choice for foreigners" the following first paragraph : "From top expatriate executives to Philippine maids, Hong Kong is no longer necessarily the first place foreigners choose to work as the weakness of the local dollar reduces their pay relative to their home currencies."
I find it quite hmm... racist (I recall the song Aiza sang in the play Avenue Q, with the title "everyone's a little racist"). Anyway, so Philippine maids are now an adjective. Hmm...
